BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA early access, how to set up

To all the players of the game who followed possible predictions and eagerly gone through related news for months now, BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA has now landed its early access version into play.

In Android's playstore, the game package with a size of 721 MB would be able to be installed, after reigistering for early access on >BGMI official website<. After clicking EARLY ACCESS NOW! the registration page is as follows (click on any image to zoom in):

The next step would be visiting the game page on playstore that has the same google account that is used to register BGMI early access with. The supporting in-game resource package can be chosen according to user's preference (HD-618.2 MB or Low spec-379.6MB).

IMPORTANT:

After setting up BGMI with any username, the above pop-up appears in the next step asking to confirm if the global version account data and username should be migrated into BGMI (not Korean/other versions).  Once a player chooses to migrate the data, the global version game can no longer be accessed with the same Facebook/Twitter account.  The global account friend listing will no longer be availaible in BGMI, except if same friends set up BGMI with their global account too.  However, other important data like vehicle and weapon skins, outfits, etc., are restored into BGMI.

As of now, the statistics of older seasons are not restored in BGMI early access.  Only 'Current Season' is listed in the drop-down box in stats page.  Hence it is a gentle but important suggestion to conisder taking screenshots of such data before migration, if a player wants to keep them.

For any inconvenience caused by migration, the game automatically gives few rewards to the player other than any signup rewards.  These include an ID card that can be used for username change, which is usually rare to find.  There are also other rewards that should be checked and collected in the same mail page in game, before they expire.

Misc:

Only 'KRAFTON' branding on the starting screen, reflecting it's publishing rights, after it had seperated from Tencen Games in Indian market.

Little in-game changes, a pop-up describing that BGMI isn't a real world based game, but a simulation game in the virtual world.  The second is a note added just above the HP bar while parachuting saying 'Enter the virtual world'.

These are so far few of the notable changes in the game during the signup and starting the gameplay.  Anything missed? Questions or suggestions?  Please let us know in the comments box.
